Negative or Positive?

In terms of viewpoint or attitude do you know people who are negative? Do you know some who are positive?

Let me take a moment to give definitions to these important terms so we can agree and understand each other.


In Terms of Emotion

A positive person could be in terms of emotion either mildly interested, conservative, strongly interested, cheerful or enthusiastic. There are higher emotional states but you don’t see them very often.

A negative person could be antagonistic, disinterested, in pain, angry, covertly hostile, fearful, griefy, sad, apathetic or dead.


Communication and Information

In general, positive people deal in good news. Negative people deal in bad news.

Positive people validate your good deeds, accomplishments and generally agree with you. They rarely create upsets and actually calm things down. They are fun to be around.

Negative people insult you, ignore good things and often disagree while telling you that you’re too stupid to know anything. No body likes you and so on. They create continuous upsets, blame everyone else for everything. Even when they smile, they are not fun to be around nor are they safe to have around in the long run.


Health and Associations

Positive people correct and learn easily. They are healthy.

Negative people already know it all, don’t readily accept information or directions. They are very often ill, generally unhealthy. Trolls or shills fall into this group.

People do well around positive people. Positive people tend to pull others up.

Negative people push others down in many ways to keep them from doing well. They are happiest when others are ill, doing poorly in life. Their survival, they think, depends on them being stronger and others being weaker. #Pyschs fall into this group.


Your Friends

I might point out that a friend is on your side. They should pull you up, not act like an enemy who pushes you down.

I do not have negative people in my environment. I don’t associate with them at all.

When I started driving Uber and Lyft, I told my wife I was only going to get the good people (positive people)!

While it may sound strange, after over 700 rides, I’ve only
encountered 5 that I never want to see again. They were too negative for me to have in my environment! That’s less than 1%.

My point here is if you have negative people you associate with, get rid of them! It is possible that you can handle them and they will stop. I did this once to an aunt. I cut her off for 5 years, no calls, no visits. When I gave her another chance, she knocked off her attacks! She ceased to be negative.

Most negative people, do not correct and you simply need to lose them.

Your health and sanity depends on this. Negative people can stress you to death! #Psychs routinely drive people crazy enough to suicide.


Spotting Them

First, I’d like to point out that anyone can have a bad day, be upset or ill and not act like they normally do. Don’t condemn someone for a single incident. Watch for the consistently negative, upsetting, person.

For example, I met a man who told me he couldn’t get to sleep until 5 am and then had to get up at 6 am for work.

I asked him was there someone stressing him out, someone creating upsets. He immediately answered that there was.

He said it was interesting I’d had asked that question. I said I knew someone was keeping him up worrying, stressing!

I suggested he either handle the many who was causing the problems or to stay away from him. I don’t now what he did after our short conversation.

Years ago, I met a lady who had all kinds of ills and body problems. It had gotten so bad she had to retire. She said when she stopped working she started healing. I asked her who was it with no explanation of my question.

She immediately voice a name and told me that was the person that was killing her!

My point is that if you’re having physical or mental difficulties, being ill and making mistakes, you have one or more negative person creating stress in your life.

Routinely I say #EverythinWill_B_OK! I believe that is true!
